From my fairly basic knowledge I was led to believe the universe was infinite. However the edges are expanding at a speed faster than light which is technically impossible.
Lets look at the weak link in your statement. "Technically Impossible"
Anything "Technically Impossible" basically means we haven't figured out how yet.
